How To Make Your Own Home Cleaners

Like many of our readers, you must have read our articles explaining the health and environmental benefits of using DIY home cleaners. While we have dealt with some of the ways to make home cleaners by yourself, we would like to share some recent updates on how to make suitable home cleaners for cleaning different parts of your home. For example, a more challenging stain in the kitchen may need a stronger cleaner than you would use in the living room, so let’s throw some lights on several types of home cleaners that you can make today.

Today, let’s show you how you make effective homemade cleaners that are eco-friendly and get the job done. It will save you cost and help you maintain a safe home from toxic substances associated with complex cleaners.

Home Cleaners That Are Eco-Friendly and Get the Job Done

All-Purpose Home Cleaner

AN all-purpose home cleaner is suitable for cleaning hard stains, trash cans and best for cleaning everywhere in the house. You can use ingredients that you can find in your home, and they include a part of white vinegar, an equal part of water, lemon and rosemary sprig. You may be wondering how these simple ingredients can effectively clean hard stains in your home. Follow the instructions, use them and find out for yourself.

When you have got the ingredients mentioned above, mix them and pour them in a can, a spray can be suitable if available. Give the mixture time to infuse, like 7 to 9 days before you put them to use. You will be surprised at the effectiveness and how such a simple and available solution can be so effective,

Kitchen Home Cleaners

We understand that the kitchen constitutes a great deal of mess and will require something more potent to remove the stain and any smell associated with dirt in the kitchen. However, it will surprise you to note that the kitchen’s preferred solution for home homemade cleaners is so simple and effective. All you will need is baking soda and water.

You will mix four tablespoons of baking soda and a quart of water and allow the mixture to form a paste. And with a damp rag, rub the mixture on the part of the material you want to clean. They are effective for cleaning kitchen appliances, counters, sinks and parts of the refrigerator.

Glass Cleaners for Your Home

You can make a homemade cleaner to clean your windows, mirrors and other stuff made with glass in your home. It is easy to make, and you will need the following ingredients: water, and you will be using just 2 cups, half a cup of vinegar, a quarter cup of rubbing alcohol, and a drop or 2 of essential oil, which is optional. All you will have to do is combine these ingredients, shake and mix properly, and you have your glass cleaner.

It would be best to pour this solution into the spraying can to easily spray the liquid on the glass and wipe it with a cloth. Although, as stated earlier, the essential oil is optional, it does give a pleasant smell.

Brass Cleaner

Some items in your home may be made up of brass materials such as vases, cabinets, decorative wares, and others. And the brass cleaner will be effective in cleaning stuff in your home. For the brass home cleaner, you will need to mix white vinegar or lemon juice with table salt. Next, you will sprinkle the table salt on a cloth soaked with lemon juice or white vinegar and wipe the required surfaces. Next, you will rinse the surface with water and eventually dry it with a dry cloth.

Grease Cleaner

You can make a homemade cleaner for tougher stains like grease, common in the kitchen. All you will require to make this homemade remedy is sudsy ammonia and water. First, mix half a cup of sudsy ammonia in a gallon of water, and then soak your sponge on the mixture, then clean your kitchen and oven surfaces with the sponge. This mixture will easily wipe off grease stains on surfaces, and then you can rinse with a cloth soaked in clean water to remove the films of the solution.

Now you can dish those expensive and complex solutions for your homemade grease cleaner. They are as effective as those complex dish cleaners, affordable, and not harmful to you and the environment.

Stain Remover for Clothes

We all hate challenging stains on clothes and your last resort may be some complex detergent with harsh chemicals. However, you can make a practical solution to remove the most stubborn stains from your clothes. Get a gallon of hot water and mix with powdered dishwasher detergent and a cup of regular liquid chlorine bleach to get your homemade solution. For tougher stains on clothes, soak in the mixture for over 15 minutes before washing and rinsing. They are very effective, and you may have to soak clothes with stubborn stains for a more extended period.

At FastKlean, we seek solutions that will make it easy for you to live healthily and protect the environment. The six tips for homemade cleaners mentioned above will help you effectively clean all kinds of surfaces in your home while preventing the buildup of hazardous substances over time.
